# Focustown vs FocusBoat

The clearest difference is update cadence: Focustown at every 5 days against FocusBoat's every 10 days. Focustown also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focustown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FocusBoat sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focustown ships an update every 5 days, FocusBoat every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
