# subMatik vs CapiCap

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: subMatik at none against CapiCap's 1. subMatik also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). CapiCap's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (13 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CapiCap sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. subMatik asks for nothing beyond the download.

subMatik holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CapiCap has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

subMatik ships an update every 3 weeks, CapiCap every 6 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
