# Pause vs CycleNote

The clearest difference is ads: Pause at none against CycleNote's shown. CycleNote's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pause sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and CycleNote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pause ships an update every 2 months, CycleNote weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
