# Pause vs peri

The clearest difference is ads: Pause at none against peri's shown. peri's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pause sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and peri sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
