# Pulse Vinyl vs Record Picker

The clearest difference is update cadence: Record Picker at every 4 days against Pulse Vinyl's fortnightly. Record Picker also leads on device support (4 vs 2). Pulse Vinyl's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pulse Vinyl sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Record Picker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pulse Vinyl ships an update fortnightly, Record Picker every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 10, 2026.
