# PassPrep vs PYT

The clearest difference is ads: PassPrep at none against PYT's shown. PYT's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 5 days). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PassPrep sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and PYT sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PassPrep ships an update every 5 days, PYT daily. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
