# Tessera vs Knotwork Puzzle

The clearest difference is ads: Tessera at none against Knotwork Puzzle's shown. Knotwork Puzzle's advantage is update cadence (daily vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tessera sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Knotwork Puzzle sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tessera ships an update fortnightly, Knotwork Puzzle daily. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
