# BluMatrix vs SiteBrief

The clearest difference is ads: SiteBrief at none against BluMatrix's shown. SiteBrief also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). BluMatrix's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BluMatrix sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $49.99 per month and SiteBrief sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for BluMatrix against 5.0 for SiteBrief. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BluMatrix has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BluMatrix ships an update fortnightly, SiteBrief every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
