# FODMAP by Fieldnote vs BellyCue

The clearest difference is update cadence: BellyCue at every 4 days against FODMAP by Fieldnote's fortnightly. FODMAP by Fieldnote's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FODMAP by Fieldnote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and BellyCue sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FODMAP by Fieldnote ships an update fortnightly, BellyCue every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
