# Vela vs TubeSurf

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: TubeSurf at none against Vela's 2. TubeSurf also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.6). Vela's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vela sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. TubeSurf asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Vela against 5.0 for TubeSurf. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vela has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
