# Brindle vs Perch

The clearest difference is update cadence: Perch at every 4 days against Brindle's fortnightly. Brindle's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brindle sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Perch sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Brindle ships an update fortnightly, Perch every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
