# CSUN vs PIEL Survey

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PIEL Survey at 100% against CSUN's 44%. PIEL Survey also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.0) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). CSUN's advantage is ratings volume (65 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PIEL Survey holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CSUN has 65 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 44% of CSUN's written reviews are positive against 100% of PIEL Survey's.

CSUN ships an update every 4 months, PIEL Survey every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
