# Parish Operations Platform vs Synaxis

The clearest difference is ads: Parish Operations Platform at none against Synaxis's shown. Parish Operations Platform also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks) and monetization model (free vs freemium). Synaxis's advantage is ratings volume (63 vs 6). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Parish Operations Platform sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and Synaxis sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Parish Operations Platform against 4.9 for Synaxis. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Synaxis has 63 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Parish Operations Platform ships an update every 2 days, Synaxis every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
