# Lora vs iCodex

The clearest difference is update cadence: iCodex at every 3 weeks against Lora's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lora sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and iCodex sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lora ships an update every 2 months, iCodex every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
