# PlayStems vs Remove Vocal

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Remove Vocal at 15.0 against PlayStems's 18.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PlayStems sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Remove Vocal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PlayStems ships an update fortnightly, Remove Vocal every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
