# Witchlet vs Occultism

The clearest difference is price: Occultism at Free against Witchlet's $5.99. Occultism also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). Witchlet's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.0) and chart position (#200 vs unranked). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Occultism is free to download; Witchlet costs $5.99 up front. Witchlet sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Occultism sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Witchlet holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Witchlet has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Witchlet ships an update every 3 weeks, Occultism every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
