# WhereisX vs Car Dashboard Widgets

The clearest difference is ads: WhereisX at none against Car Dashboard Widgets's shown. WhereisX also leads on device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Car Dashboard Widgets's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 8 days). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WhereisX sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Car Dashboard Widgets sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
