# DopaLock vs Forepause

The clearest difference is update cadence: Forepause at daily against DopaLock's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DopaLock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Forepause sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DopaLock ships an update fortnightly, Forepause daily. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
