# DopaLock vs もちのう

The clearest difference is ads: DopaLock at none against もちのう's shown. もちのう's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DopaLock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and もちのう sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DopaLock ships an update fortnightly, もちのう every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
