# SAPPER vs Cascade

The clearest difference is device support: SAPPER at 3 against Cascade's 1. SAPPER also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SAPPER sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Cascade sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
