# Slips vs HipMark

The clearest difference is update cadence: HipMark at every 3 days against Slips's weekly. HipMark also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Slips sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and HipMark sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Slips ships an update weekly, HipMark every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
