# Slips vs Notedown

Both are free to download. Slips sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Notedown asks for nothing beyond the download.

Slips ships an update weekly, Notedown every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
