# PrepNMC vs RapidPrep

The clearest difference is update cadence: RapidPrep at every 4 days against PrepNMC's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PrepNMC sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and RapidPrep sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PrepNMC ships an update every 2 weeks, RapidPrep every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
