# FocusFirst Screen Time Control vs CTRL

The clearest difference is update cadence: FocusFirst Screen Time Control at every 2 weeks against CTRL's every 6 weeks. CTRL's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FocusFirst Screen Time Control sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and CTRL sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FocusFirst Screen Time Control ships an update every 2 weeks, CTRL every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on September 18, 2026.
