# FocusFirst Screen Time Control vs Solys

The clearest difference is ads: FocusFirst Screen Time Control at none against Solys's shown. Solys's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.1). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FocusFirst Screen Time Control sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Solys sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.59 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FocusFirst Screen Time Control ships an update every 2 weeks, Solys every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
