# TermLink vs Teletype

The clearest difference is device support: Teletype at 3 against TermLink's 1. TermLink's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TermLink sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Teletype sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TermLink ships an update every 5 days, Teletype every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
