# Audella vs BookAloud

The clearest difference is update cadence: BookAloud at every 3 weeks against Audella's every 2 months. BookAloud also leads on device support (4 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Audella sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and BookAloud sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Audella ships an update every 2 months, BookAloud every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
