# PixelPal vs PetRocky

The clearest difference is ads: PixelPal at none against PetRocky's shown. PetRocky's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PixelPal sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and PetRocky sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
