# PixelPal vs Wiggly Pet

The clearest difference is ads: PixelPal at none against Wiggly Pet's shown. Wiggly Pet's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PixelPal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Wiggly Pet sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PixelPal ships an update every 4 months, Wiggly Pet every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
