# PixelPal vs Yokedo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Yokedo at every 2 weeks against PixelPal's every 2 months. Yokedo also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PixelPal sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Yokedo sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PixelPal ships an update every 2 months, Yokedo every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
