# DramaPro vs ReadShort

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DramaPro at 80% against ReadShort's 33%. DramaPro also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (638 vs 14). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DramaPro sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and ReadShort sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DramaPro holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DramaPro has 638 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 80% of DramaPro's written reviews are positive against 33% of ReadShort's.

DramaPro ships an update every 10 days, ReadShort every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
