# Lumolands vs Bananasquash

The clearest difference is ads: Bananasquash at none against Lumolands's shown. Lumolands's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.5). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lumolands sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Bananasquash sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lumolands ships an update every 5 days, Bananasquash every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
