# Novera Learn English vs PathGlot

The clearest difference is monetization model: Novera Learn English at free with in-app purchases against PathGlot's subscription. Novera Learn English also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). PathGlot's advantage is update cadence (daily vs weekly) and ratings volume (4 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Novera Learn English sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and PathGlot sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
