# Pictory AI vs Capsule

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pictory AI at weekly against Capsule's every 3 weeks. Pictory AI also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pictory AI sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Capsule sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
