# DD vs BestForMyPet

The clearest difference is monetization model: DD at free against BestForMyPet's free with in-app purchases. DD also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). BestForMyPet's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DD sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and BestForMyPet sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $125.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for DD against 5.0 for BestForMyPet. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 14 and 5 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

DD ships an update every 4 days, BestForMyPet every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
