# 威猛VPN vs VPN

The clearest difference is ads: 威猛VPN at none against VPN's shown. 威猛VPN also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and device support (5 vs 2). VPN's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 days). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 威猛VPN sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month and VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for 威猛VPN against 5.0 for VPN. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 2 respectively.

威猛VPN ships an update every 10 days, VPN every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
