# Somewhere Wild vs First Tap

The clearest difference is update cadence: First Tap at every 9 days against Somewhere Wild's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Somewhere Wild sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and First Tap sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Somewhere Wild ships an update every 2 months, First Tap every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
