# SiteBrief vs TaskArc

The clearest difference is monetization model: SiteBrief at free with in-app purchases against TaskArc's subscription. TaskArc's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SiteBrief sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per month and TaskArc sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for SiteBrief against 5.0 for TaskArc. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively.

SiteBrief ships an update every 5 days, TaskArc every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
