# Fjord Mobile vs Outpost

The clearest difference is update cadence: Outpost at daily against Fjord Mobile's weekly. Fjord Mobile's advantage is chart position (#118 vs unranked) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Fjord Mobile against 5.0 for Outpost. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fjord Mobile has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Fjord Mobile ships an update weekly, Outpost daily. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
