# Timix vs Acid Interval

The clearest difference is rating: Acid Interval at 5.0 against Timix's 3.5. Timix's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timix sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Acid Interval sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Acid Interval holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timix has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Timix ships an update every 10 days, Acid Interval every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
