# Kotomit vs SHURABA

The clearest difference is ads: Kotomit at none against SHURABA's shown. Kotomit also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.5). SHURABA's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kotomit sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and SHURABA sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kotomit ships an update every 6 weeks, SHURABA fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
