# Forge vs LOG

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Forge at none against LOG's 1. Forge also leads on ads (none vs shown) and device support (4 vs 2). LOG's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days). On price and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LOG sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Forge asks for nothing beyond the download.

Forge ships an update every 5 days, LOG every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
