# Focus Train vs Fav Timer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Focus Train at every 6 days against Fav Timer's every 3 weeks. Focus Train also leads on device support (4 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Train sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Fav Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus Train ships an update every 6 days, Fav Timer every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
