# Focus Train vs Grotto

The clearest difference is device support: Focus Train at 4 against Grotto's 2. Grotto's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Train sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Grotto sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus Train ships an update every 6 days, Grotto every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
