# Ashnote vs Notelux

The clearest difference is ads: Ashnote at none against Notelux's shown. Ashnote also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months) and device support (5 vs 3). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ashnote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Notelux sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
