# Nuros vs Synapse

The clearest difference is update cadence: Nuros at every 5 days against Synapse's every 3 weeks. Nuros also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nuros sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Synapse sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $79.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nuros ships an update every 5 days, Synapse every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
