# Cortex vs Cubilo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cubilo at every 3 days against Cortex's every 11 days. Cubilo also leads on device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cortex sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cubilo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cortex ships an update every 11 days, Cubilo every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
