# App Lock Timer vs Block Apps

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Block Apps at 18.0 against App Lock Timer's 26.5. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. App Lock Timer sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and Block Apps sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
