# The Preacher vs FOR THIS

The clearest difference is update cadence: FOR THIS at every 2 days against The Preacher's every 4 days. The Preacher's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Preacher sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and FOR THIS sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Preacher ships an update every 4 days, FOR THIS every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
