# Phantom Frequency vs Threshold

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Threshold at 17.6 against Phantom Frequency's 26.4. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Phantom Frequency sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per year and Threshold sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
